Location: The “Den Wolsack” hotel is located in the very heart of the city of Mechelen, at the foot of the St.-Rumbold's Catherdral, Wollemarkt 16.
By car: Mechelen city centre is easily accesible by car.
Take the E-19 motorway (Antwerp - Brussels), exit number 9 ‘Mechelen-Noord’.

Go straight ahead at the intersection with McDonalds (which is at your right hand side).

Turn right at the next traffic lights, into the "St. Katelijnestraat". Follow this road until you reach the Cathedral.

Right before the Cathedral, turn left to enter the Wollenmarkt. The grey gate in front of you gives access to the "Den Wolsack" hotel and the "'t Oud Conservatorium" Brasserie.
Parking your car:
1) There is a paid parking system on the Wollenmarkt (Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm). 2) Another parking facility is the "Grote Markt" underground parking garage, locatied at the other side of the St. Rumbold's Cathedral. 3) There is also a non-paying parking place situated at approx. 300 metres from the hotel.
Train: The "Mechelen - Nekkerspoel" railway station is the closest to the hotel (15 minutes on foot). Walking from the "Mechelen Centraal" station would take about 25 minutes, but you can also take the city bus.
